The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) announced on May 26 that it recently
suspended the rights and obligations of the representatives of Global
Petroleum Joint Stock Commercial Bank (GP Bank).
Ocean Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OceanBank) appointed independent
member Dao Thi Thuy from the bank''s board of directors as its new
chairwoman of the board.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has appointed Nguyen Thi Hong, director
of the State Bank of Viet Nam''s (SBV) Monetary Policy Department, as the
new SBV deputy governor.
